Golden Eagles are long-lived, slow-reproducing birds of conservation concern in Utah and elsewhere in the Western United States. The last two years have yielded the worst nestling survival rates for Golden Eagles in Utah in at least 40 years. There are a number of reasons for this, but one that we believe to be very important is diet.
